Fees and Funding

Fees

Our fees vary between individual nurseries and are based on the age of your child and the number of sessions they will spend with us. Please contact our Head Office for the latest information by emailing info@buttercups-nursery.co.uk stating which nursery you are interested in.

A non-refundable fee of £60.00 is payable upon registration along with a completed Registration Pack. This will enable your child to be added to the Waiting List.

Deposit

Prior to entry a deposit is required of £250 for full time attendance or £150 for part time attendance. This will be refunded one month after your child has left, however any outstanding payments will be deducted. The parent/guardian's attention is drawn to the Terms and Conditions with regard to the return or forfeit of the deposit (please contact our Head Office for a copy).

Monthly Payments

Fees can be paid by Direct Debit, bank transfer, Tax Free Childcare, childcare vouchers, Enjoy Benefits Scheme or a combination of these. The payments vary according to the nursery you select for your child and the number of sessions you choose. Please contact our Head Office for the latest information.

The fees include breakfast, snacks, lunch and tea.

There is no refund for any absence from the nursery, for Bank Holidays or the three days between Christmas and New Year. The parent/guardian's attention is drawn to the Terms and Conditions (please contact our Head Office for a copy).

Discounts

Sibling Discount - we offer a discount of 10% on the child with the lower fees (5% for Chalfont nursery).

NHS Discounts - some of our settings offer a discount to NHS employees, ask the nursery or Head Office for more details.

Local Government Employees, Civil Servants and Emergency Services employees - some settings offer a discount to these groups, ask the nursery or Head Office for more details.

Funding

At Buttercups we aim to keep the cost to you as low as possible, whilst providing a very high standard of care and education, but you may be able to substantially reduce your childcare costs by applying for government funding.

We accept both types of over 3s funding: Universal Entitlement (15 hours childcare per week, during term time, available to all children over the age of 3) and Extended Entitlement (an additional 15 hours during term time, eligibility for this depends on your income and hours worked). We regret that currently we cannot offer 2 year old funded spaces.

Our Nursery Heads will be able to talk you through all the options available and make the process easy and seamless.

Tax-Free Childcare

You may be eligible for up to £2,000 a year under the tax-free childcare scheme. Through this scheme you will receive £2 for every £8 you spend up to a total of £500 per 3 months, but this money can only be used for approved childcare. This can be claimed in addition to the funding above and is per child.

To qualify for tax-free childcare both parents usually need to be working at least 16 hours per week.
